There are many theories about which oil might closely resemble the Balm of Gilead in the Bible. We offering the populus balsamifer to represent the Balm of Gilead at this time.
This is a thick oil that is sometimes difficult to work with. Finished product may need to be filtered. The aroma is pleasant.
