Violet Leaf Absolute
Scientific Name: Viola odorata Country of Origin: Egypt Distillation Method: Solvent Extraction Plant Part Used: Leaves Safety: Appears nontoxic. Could have possible sensitization.
A long time ago fragrances made with violet were very popular. The violet scent can cause a temporary loss of smell. This oil is an absolute and is not made from the violet petals. This oil is taken from the leaves only. Try adding a small amount of Orris Root CO2 Extract to bring forth a little more "violet flower" scent.
